Fall 2012 Program Registration

TEACHERS! Great news...The Pueblo Chieftain is going green!

Beginning now you can register for all of the NIE programs with the click of the mouse. No paper, no postage, no faxing...no problem. Fill out the form on this page and click "REGISTER NOW" to complete your registration for the following spring programs. These programs will have the standard in-paper lesson pages and the classroom newspapers will still be delivered to the school.

The Pueblo Chieftain's new Digital Edition has launched...an exact replica of the daily newspaper online!

For this fall, teachers will have the option to sign up or access to the Chieftain Digital Edition. At that time, programs (with resources and Colorado Academic Standards) will be available exclusively online. Go ahead and sign up for them now by completing the registration form below. You will be notified when dates for online program availability are determined.

REGISTER FOR ADOPT-A-CLASS TODAY and receive newspapers in your classroom for the upcoming 2012-2013 school year!!

Imagine using the most up-to-date textbook available, one that is delivered at no charge to your classroom. The Pueblo Chieftain has a brand new look and the layout should make it easier for students to use as a research tool or find the topic they seek in the news stories. When you register for the Adopt-a-Class program, The Pueblo Chieftain's Newspapers in Education staff will match your class to a business or individual sponsor. The sponsor pays for delivery of a classroom set of 30 newspapers each week throughout the school year. You choose the day of the week for delivery (no Saturday or Sunday papers are available). OR: Choose the option of receiving the Chieftain Digital Edition and you and your students can access the newspaper online.

Registrations are handled on a first-come, first-served basis, so register today to reserve your spot in the program for the 2012-2013 school year. You will receive newspaper ordering info in August.
